24V Lithium battery charger

 

 


24V lithium battery is an informal name, generally refers to 7-cell lithium-ion battery pack in series (nominal voltage 25.2V or 25.9V), or 6-cell lithium-ion battery pack in series (nominal voltage 22.2V), or 8-cell lithium iron phosphate battery pack in series (nominal voltage 25.6V). The battery capacity is mainly between 2Ah and 200Ah.

Q: Can a 24V lithium battery charger charge 48V lithium battery?


A: The basic principle of battery charging is that the output voltage of the charger must be higher than the voltage of the battery to charge. Since the output voltage of a 24V charger is lower than the voltage of a 48V battery, it cannot charge the battery effectively. It cannot be charged unless there is a voltage boosting device or function to boost the voltage to 48V.
